Web Design Questions

What is a ‘responsive’ design?

Responsive design is an approach to web design aimed at crafting sites to provide an optimal viewing and interaction experience – easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling – across a wide range of devices (from desktop computer monitors to mobile phones).

All our sites are built to be responsive.

What is a content managed website?

A content management system (CMS), is a web application designed to make it easy for non-technical users to add, edit and manage a website.

Can you build me a content managed website?

Yes we can. It’s one of our specialities.

Can you build me a bi-lingual website?

Yes, we’ve built many bi-lingual CMS sites.

What will you be using to build my new content managed website?

Our preferred method with the most effective results is to use WordPress.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is Content Management System (CMS), web software that we use to develop our websites.

How much experience do you have with WordPress?

We’ve been developing our websites in WordPress since 2005. Ask us about our customised WordPress admin areas.

Couldn’t I just build my own WordPress website?

Yes you could, but you might not want to.

WordPress is an amazing platform for creating websites. The problem here is that when people say that it’s easy to create a website with WordPress, they really mean that it’s easy for people who know how to code… not necessarily for everybody. Also, we would be creating you a bespoke site, we wouldn’t be using a template that hundreds if not thousands of other people are using.

What are the advantages of you building my WordPress website for me?

After we meet and discuss what is needed, we’ll provide you with a website that fulfills all your needs to your specific requests. We’ll create a customised admin area tailored to you that will make inputting your site content easy and quick.

Do you do work with SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)?

Yes, we understand the importance of SEO in web development and how it generates results, so we believe SEO is a very important factor of our Web Design Service.

Print Questions

Do you offer a print service?

We deal with many printers, each having their own skill sets. Over the years we have got to know which printer is best for each job. We are able to manage the project from design through to delivery of the printed document.

How long will it take to print a job?

This varies depending on the complexity of the job, but we always like to allow 10 working days from release of artwork to the delivery of print.

Can you print from our artwork?

We generally don’t like to. We are a design firm not a print-shop. However, we would be happy to redesign/artwork the job properly if required.
