Taylor Woodrow approached us to develop the brand identity and visual direction for ESM, a specialist subsidiary focused on crack and joint repair for highways, runways, and infrastructure projects.
Our task was to create an identity that reflected ESM’s technical precision, operations, and maintenance of public infrastructure, while ensuring it aligned with the Taylor Woodrow identity.
We worked closely with the Taylor Woodrow team to understand the practical demands of ESM’s work, live environments, safety-critical operations, and large-scale public works, which helped inform us during the research and development phase of the project.
The final identity consists of a minimalist symbol that takes inspiration from highway intersections. This represents both the precision of ESM’s work and the structured environments in which they operate.
